Atom8 Flocculant

Atom8 Flocculant is liquid coagulant used in potable water clarification. It is used with inorganic coagulants and flocculants. It is based on polyacrylamide, chitosan and poly aluminum chloride. Atom8 Flocculant is efficient in removal 97% of suspended solids from raw water. The flocculant and coagulant can be used for flocculation.

Limitations & Handling:
Atom8 Flocculent is not considered hazardous but as with all industrial chemicals, care should be taken in its handling and use. Keep the container closed when not in use, the product should not be swallowed and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wear goggles & face shield and rubber gloves while handling this product.

DIRECTIONS OF USE
Atom8 Polymers may be unloaded manually or pumped directly into the system or to the dilution tank from the container.
Prepare stock-solution (1.0 to 1.5%w/v) of the polyelectrolytes using clear filtered water.
Prepare feed solution by diluting the stock solution about ten times directly or by on-line using filtered water.
For small systems chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. However, for large systems use of dosing system is preferred for optimum efficiency.
