Atom8 pH Adjuster (2-chloroethyl phosphoric acid) can be used as an ingredient that substitutes ethylene in degreening and has been widely used by fresh orange fruit producers in several countries. PH adjuster is very easy to use; oranges are only dipped in Atom8 pH Adjuster solution with a specific concentration and duration pH 5.5 – 6.5. Atom8 pH Shift is the fruit tissue that will be hydrolysed to produce ethylene, chlorine ions, and phosphate. Atom8 pH Shift is a compound that spontaneously releases ethylene upon contact with water. By using Atom8 pH Adjuster we try to speed-up the degreening of citrus saving time and money in the degreening rooms.

NanFa an approved distributor of Dry Tech Aerogel product Atom8 pH Adjuster can install an acid processor to control the pH level of Pack House wash water systems and the product will at the same time start the process of ethylene production in the peel and can therefore assist in the de-greening process of fruits.
